Masala Chai
Description
A handpicked traditional blend of warm spices and aromatic herbs. Among them: Star anise, black peppercorn, cloves, green cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg. Use generously to transform any ordinary cup of tea into a lush and flavorful chai.
This drink is believed to have antibacterial properties boosting your immune system. In the Eastern hemisphere, spiced chai has always been valued as a home remedy thanks to its anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. This antioxidant wonder drink also prevents heart problems.
Heat 250 ml of milk of your choice with 2 tablespoons of black tea. Stir the milk mixture continuously.
Once you’ve got the right colour, add ¼ tea spoons of masala chai mixture to the milk mixture.
Bring the mix to a boil and add sugar to taste.
Drain the spices and serve hot.
