Description
The American tradition of using rye to create whiskey goes back to German and Eastern European immigrants in the US. Back in those days, rye was often used to achieve a much dryer version of a regular whiskey cocktail. This Straight Rye Whiskey is very much indebted to its American forebear, yet it is made entirely from ingredients grown in Westphalia’s Münsterland. Matured for 5 to 11 years in lightly toasted American oak barrels.
