‘Bonvodou’: Gimme five
Description
Here you’ll get a set starring five of the world’s current best cocoa beans. They are individually selected by Holger, always matching the main principle of being produced in small, sustainable and biodiverse cooperatives working under high quality standards. Holger pays prices that are even above the still rather low fair trade level. Roasting and processing takes place in Berlin, all by hand in small batches with stone melangeurs. Only Mascobado whole cane sugar is used in the process. Five different beans, five different messages. Cacao prophets in chocolate bars.
The packaging is sandwich paper and recycled mini envelopes. Since the chocolates lose flavor in this ecologically correct packaging, it is advised to consume the chocolate within 3-4 months of production.
