Chili paste
Description
“Holy shit,”– in a liberal translation – is what our Micha said to Judith when she asked what our brand new chili paste was like. He wasn’t just referring to its level of heat and spice either. No, what’s truly astounding is the array of fruity flavours in this great little concoction.
We’ve made sure to include quite a few chili varieties, such as Taeyang medium, Turuncu spiral and De Cayenne, all of which are grown by Jens Wylegalla at his Ahrensdorfer Kräuterwelten. Add to that a bit of tomato and salt and off it goes into the blender. And that’s all, really! This makes for an incredibly pure product that cannot really be assigned to any particular national cuisine. It’s just incredibly versatile and you’ll love using it wherever you need that little bit of extra spice.
Great with fried green veggies, in sauces, dressings… you know the drill. Also be sure to try it in this chickpea stew or a good puttanesca. (Recipes in German)
