It is made using the finest Chinese ginger root and the time-honoured botanical brewing process that Fentiman’s is known for – the natural ingredients are infused, skilfully blended and fermented for a full seven days for unsurpassed quality and unrivalled flavour. No artificial flavours, preservatives, colours, or sweeteners. This carefully crafted recipe is also suitable for vegans.

Botanically Brewed isn’t a trendy label; it’s the technique of making premium quality drinks, that has been handed from generation to generation of the Fentimans family since 1905 when Thomas Fentiman, an iron puddler from Cleckheaton, England was approached by a fellow tradesman for a loan. A deal was struck and a recipe for botanically brewed ginger beer was provided as security. The loan was never repaid so Thomas became the owner of the unique recipe. His Ginger Beer was stored in stone jars known affectionately as Grey Hens. Fearless, the Fentiman family dog, was the winner of Crufts obedience class of 1933 and 1934. Thomas was so proud of her achievement that he not only used her portrait on his bottles, but her image adorned every Fentimans factory. Fearless proudly guards every Fentimans bottle to this day.
