In true hipster fashion, we were into sustainability before it was cool. That’s why we were all the happier to hear that the disabled people’s workshop at Dorf Seewalde has agreed to make some birthday candles for us – they’re the good people behind the beeswax candles that bring such a special atmosphere to our restaurant. The birthday candles aren’t colourful or stripy, but a charming, natural beeswax colour.
