The Luisenhall Saline, Europe’s last operational pan saltwork, is a relic from a different era. Within a year, it barely yields as much as major industrial saltworks do on any ordinary day before taking their lunch break. The quality is altogether different, too – as you would expect from such small-scale, artisanal production. This salt is as pure and fine as it gets.
