A particularly grainy polenta, rich in bran with a deep aroma bound to enchant any and all lovers of hearty cornmeal. What’s behind this incredible quality? Well, it’s simple: a mix of tradition, experience, the careful selection of special plants and a way of farming and cultivating that doesn’t cut any corners. For this special variety, DeTacchi use only the naturally pure, highly aromatic Maranello corn typical of the Marano Vicentino region.
In order to bring out the true depth of its taste and to achieve optimal consistency, this precious corn is ground coarse with a stone – this being the only variety for which DeTacchi employ this type of processing. As with many of the products in our shop, this is a one way ticket: you won’t be going back to the supermarket brand after you’ve tried it.
Cooks in about 45 minutes, the ratio polenta / water should be 1:4.
