For the longest time, the park by Schöneberg’s Gleisdreieck was something of a culinary wasteland. That was until Julia Heifer came along and remedied the situation with the summer 2017 opening of her LOK6. LOK6, like Julia’s previous stop Dottír, is devoted to local ingredients of the highest quality. For this reason, she works mostly with Markthalle IX and their trusted network of producers and farmers. The restaurant serves mostly vegetarian dishes, unless there’s an especially good cut, responsibly farmed cut of meat available. 

Since 2018, the restaurant concept has been expanded to include the idea of a culinary studio, which brings together people passionate about food in a space where they can work together, cook and share ideas.
