Shipping Information
Our commitment to food culture, artisan food and mindful use of resources during production and shipping is key to our Hausgemachtes shop. For this reason, our transport packaging is plastic-free and made of sustainable materials. Our cooling method is also environmentally friendly thanks to Biobiene’s modern solution and is composed only of paper and water. In addition, we reuse old packaging materials we’ve received from our own suppliers. If you want to play things super green, get on your bike and come and pick up your purchase yourself!
But even if you’ve opted for shipping, worry not – we send all standard packages climate neutrally through DHL GoGreen. By participating in the GoGreen program, we ensure that your purchase contributes to climate protection as with this special program, transport-related CO2 emissions are offset by various climate protection projects.
If you’re not lucky enough to live in Berlin, we charge you for shipping at cost. Shipping is climate neutral. For packages up to 20kg costs are as follows:

Please note that shipment of fresh produce cannot take place over public holidays or weekends due to cooling requirements.
Of course, our packaging solutions use all sustainable cardboard, paper adhesive tapes with natural rubber and wood wool as filling material. Yes, wood wool can be a little dusty, but it is also environmentally friendly, renewable and biodegradable.

Pickup in Berlin
Your purchase is ready for pickup. We are happy to have you stop by. Really, this is our favourite option by far! This way you get your product directly from us and you also save on shipping costs. We enjoy having a chat with you and it’s just that much nicer if you put a delicious fruit spread or our oil of wild juniper in your shopping cart instead of spending the extra money on shipping.
